We do not sell puppies — we place them.
With intention, care, and responsibility.

At Sylvestris et Salix, breeding is not a business. It’s a lifelong commitment to every dog we bring into the world.

We breed very few litters, and only when we believe the pairing brings something valuable to the breed — whether in working ability, structure, character, or long-term potential. Every puppy is raised in our home, with a great deal of time, attention, and care. Because of this, we are highly selective about the homes they go to.

What We Expect

We are looking for owners who share our values:

A deep respect for the dog as a living being
A commitment to training and daily structure
An understanding of the breed’s physical and mental needs
The willingness to stay in contact and share updates throughout the dog’s life

Whether you are looking for a family dog, a future sport or working partner, or a show prospect — the most important thing to us is that the puppy is loved, guided, and challenged appropriately.

We do not place puppies based on colour, eye shape, or gender preferences.
We do not place puppies to people looking for “just a pet.”
We are not a kennel where you can pick a puppy and walk away.

How to Apply

If you’re seriously interested in one of our puppies, please send us an email introducing yourself. Tell us about:

Your name, location, and household
Your experience with dogs (especially with our breeds)
Your daily lifestyle and future plans
Your goals for the puppy (family, working, sport, etc.)
Why you believe a Sylvestris et Salix puppy is the right fit for you

This is not about perfection — it’s about honesty, commitment, and connection.

We are happy to answer questions, guide you, and stay in touch — but we expect the same level of care in return.
